New to Arran’s core range, this annual release is limited to just 3,000 bottles. The oldest expression available from the Island distillery, it has been matured for a quarter of a decade in sherry and bourbon casks. Bottled at 46% abv, and presented in a superb oak display case.

On the nose, we find notes of rich oak, subtle nutmeg, baked fig and black cherry, before a palate full of fruit cake, toasted almonds and cinnamon. Oranges, Manuka honey, muscovado sugar, baked apricots and an interesting white pepper note lead to a creamy, spicy finish of dark chocolate and walnuts.
